SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST
The Social Media Specialist will take care of businesses on all social media platforms (i.e. Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram etc.), creative writing, press releases, and copy editing.
Experience: at least 2 years of managing social network platforms
Employment Type: Full time – Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and optimize company pages / client pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
- Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
- Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
- Generate, edit, publish, share content, comment (original text, images, video or HTML) to social media channels accordingly
- Work with internal teams such as public relations and customer service to answer customer questions and respond to issues
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results and report as needed.
- Illustrate designing ability
Requirements:
- Strong editorial copywriting experience
- A demonstrated ability for planning and organization skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience with focus on social media Experience using social media campaign management tools across Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest platforms
- Fluency in English
- Design experience would be an advantage
- Related experience in agency environment preferred
