Agoda introduces debit card and over-the-counter payment methods to help Vietnamese travel seamlessly
Paying for travel just got even easier as Agoda, a global digital travel platform, introduces additional payment modes for Vietnamese travelers. These new options, which include debit card and over-the-counter (OTC) payment solutions help travelers gain access to Agoda’s great value deals on accommodation and book their travel more conveniently.
Through its partnership with online payment providers, Payoo, Agoda now offers travelers the choice to book accommodation on Agoda and then opt to pay via debit ATM card or OTC at one of 6000 convenience stores including FPT Shop, Vin Mart+, Pharmacity, CircleK, Ministop, GS25 pharmacy in more than 63 provinces nationwide. To book, travelers simply select “counterpayment – pay at store” for over-the-counter payment, or ATM/debit card accordingly at the checkout. Once booked, Agoda will send a confirmation email to allow them to complete payment at the convenience store, within 2 hours of booking.

In 2020 Vietnamese travelers show dedicated support for domestic tourism, even without access to international destinations. Travelers were most looking forward to enjoying the sunshine and seashore at Phu Quoc Islands, which ranked #1 this year, while destinations like Nha Trang take second place, followed by Da Nang and Dalat.
