The biggest star, the biggest stage
With the sun setting on 2017, Vietnam’s “Queen of Entertainment” Ho Ngoc Ha will grace one final stage for the year – and what a stage it shall be. New Year’s Eve at The Grand Ho Tram Strip will be featuring Ha at her energetic best to welcome in a brand new year with a sold-out event in the Ballroom of Vietnam’s entertainment capital.
In a career that has seen her album “Love Song” take out the Lan Song Xanh Music Project of the Year, nothing will compare to the Ho Ngoc Ha countdown that will welcome 2018 to The Grand Ho Tram Strip. The 541-room resort sold out in advance, following the star’s exclusive video posted to The Grand Ho Tram Strip’s Facebook page several weeks ago, with the nation rushing to take the chance to see its favorite daughter perform on Vietnam’s Grandest Stage.
With a set-list featuring “Destiny”, “Bang Bang”, “Gui nguoi yeu cu”, “Don xuan”, “What is love”, Ha’s performance on a breathtaking blue and white stage will be fitting finale to an incredible 2017 for the Ho Tram Strip.
Mr Michael Kelly, Executive Chairman of The Grand Ho Tram Strip, said: “2017 has been the year in which we cemented our position as Vietnam’s top entertainment destination. It was a year that began when we opened the nation’s tallest waterslide, and saw announcements almost monthly augmenting our property and adding exciting new amenities and events for our guests. This included the launch of the nightly Fountains of Ho Tram spectacular, and then using these fountains as a backdrop for some of Vietnam’s top performers, including My Tram, Son Tung MTP, Isaac, Phuong Vy and Toc Tien. Now, for New Year’s Eve, we could not be more excited to be hosting Ho Ngoc Ha – Vietnam’s number 1 entertainer.”
In addition to its entertainment offering, the Ho Tram Strip has set almost as many records in 2017 as Ho Ngoc Ha herself! Over the past year, the resort has taken out a host of awards for The Spa, The Bluffs – its Championship golf course, and for the luxurious resort itself. And while Ha was topping the charts, The Grand was busy putting the top on its second resort, The Beach Club, and also found time to break ground on its condotel and beachside villa development Kahuna, make significant headway on the luxurious course-side Gallery Villas, and even inaugurate its own powerplant.
“2017 has been a watershed year for The Grand, and for guests lucky enough to see 2017 out and 2018 in with Ho Ngoc Ha, we have an incredible evening in store, before yet another incredible year for our property,” Mr. Kelly continued.
Those lucky enough to be a part of The Grand Finale to 2017 will have lavish dining options including double-boiled pigeon with cordyceps flowers, belon oyster with cucumber vinegar sauce and caviar and more specialties only available during the festive season. Buffet packages at the NYE Event at Ballroom start from VND 1,100,000 ++ per pax, the Bistro New Year Set Menu at The Grand Bistro starts from VND 1,380,000 ++ per pax and the Roxy Countdown Event at Roxy Club is VND 5.000.000++ for groups of four people or less.
Backing Ho Ngoc Ha will be two new faces of V-Pop: Cindy V and Tia Hai Chau. One with extremely warm voice, one with hauntingly exotic voice, both ensures that the New Year’s Eve at The Grand Ho Tram Strip will be forever memorable. Sharing the stage will be stunning Indonesian singer Dona Amelia and two talented DJs: Taiz Nguyen and Loki.
For the support and trust of guests while choosing The Grand Ho Tram Strip as an ideal destination to start a whole new year, Mr. Michael Kelly said: “There is no better way to welcome in an even bigger 2018 than with the nation’s biggest star ringing it in. With her charm and dynamic energy, Ha will make this New Year’s Eve one to savor.”
