Dell Technologies Vietnam has announced growth of 60% year-on-year for its financial year 2022 at a media event in Hanoi today.
Vietnam’s burgeoning telecommunications, corporate, banking and financial services sectors have led the way for the company, with the recent disruptions leading to consumers and businesses altering payment behaviors, spurring demand for improved technological infrastructure for companies in these industries.
Dell finished the calendar year 2021 as the number 1i in overall external storage systems vendor revenue; x86 server unit shipmentii and vendor revenue; total branded workstationsiii; midrange storage systems; hyper-converged appliances; hybrid flash array external storage; and entry external storage systems, all highlighting its stellar performance in Vietnam, the fast-growing Southeast Asian nation.
Meanwhile, the company’s consumer goods continued to record robust growth, spurred by increased demand for staff working remotely and by students studying from home, and seeing Dell lead the industryiii in share for consumer desktops and notebooks in 2021.
This paves the way for a wider growth strategy that will focus on partnering with local authorities on Digital Nations and the expansion of the country’s e-government initiatives.
