DHL Express appoints Bernardo Bautista as the new Managing Director and Country Manager for Vietnam

DHL Express, the world’s leading international express service provider, has appointed Bernardo Bautista as the new Managing Director and Country Manager of DHL Express Vietnam.
Based in Ho Chi Minh City, Bernardo will be leading the company’s strategic development and is responsible for all aspects of the business operations and activities of DHL Express in Vietnam.
Reporting to Herbert Vongpusanachai, Managing Director, DHL Express Thailand & Head of Indochina, Bernardo succeeds Shoeib Reza Choudhury, who has begun his tenure at DHL Express Canada.

Bernardo brings with him over twenty years of experience, and has assumed several leadership positions within DHL Express in Belgium, Germany, USA and Mexico. In his most recent roles, Bernardo served as the Chief Financial Officer and then as Commercial Head of DHL Express Mexico. As part of Mexico’s senior management, he was instrumental in driving the strong and sustainable growth and development of DHL’s business.

Bernardo holds a Masters’ Degree in Business Administration from INSEAD Business School.
