Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, 24 March 2017: Israeli-founded and invested Family Medical Practice, Vietnam’s leading independent health care provider, was honored to host Israel’s President, the Honorable Reuven Ruvi Rivlin during his visit to Vietnam.

Leading Mr. Rivlin on a tour of the facility he founded over two decades ago, Tel Aviv native Dr. Rafi Kot took the time to showcase the President and First Lady the Practice’s extensive emergency areas, discussing in depth the accessibility of medical care for people in the fast developing south East Asian nation.

With the President having yesterday pledged to grow bilateral trade between the two nations to over US$3 billion in the years ahead, Dr. Kot discussed various ways in which the Practice will be contributing to that goal, including the investment in state-of-the-art ambulances, and the expansion of its network of clinics nationwide.

The two took the opportunity to discuss ways in which the clinic, drawing upon learnings from Israel, is moving beyond conventional medicine into broader wellness, nutrition, and a holistic approach to patient care.

Impressed with the displays before him, Mr. Rivlin congratulated Dr. Kot and all of his team for the efforts that they have made to raise standards in health care and emergency services for people around Vietnam. He called upon them to continue deploying the technology and expertise of Israel as they work to continually drive standards of Vietnamese care into the future.

Having just returned from his homeland himself where he attended events, seminars and visited numerous health care facilities, Dr Kot pledged to his president to continue to be a bridge between Israel’s world leading technologies and Vietnam’s increasing needs for health care.
