Jetstar ups frequency in its fifth year of flying to Da Nang
Jetstar will celebrate its fifth year of offering low fare travel between Singapore and Da Nang by introducing a fifth weekly service from Tuesday, 29 October 2019, reflecting the ongoing popularity of the destination.
Jetstar Regional General Manager for Southeast Asia, Mr. Clive Ashmore Butler, explained Da Nang, one of the largest cities in Vietnam, was well known for its beautiful sandy beaches, charming towns and incredible food but and has also become increasingly popular for business travellers arranging meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE).
“The strong demand for this route has seen us respond and increase services from three when we started, to five services this year.
“We know business travellers require reliable on-time performance, great value and a consistently high level of customer service which is exactly what our passengers can expect every time they fly with Jetstar Asia in Vietnam and across our network,” said Mr. Ashmore Butler.
“As we move into our fifth year of operations to Da Nang we continue to work closely with our partners to promote our products, services and our significant network connectivity beyond Singapore to Southeast Asia and five cities in Australia through Jetstar and our partner, Qantas.”
The new service 3K547 will depart Singapore at 0700 and arrive into Da Nang at 0840 while the returning service will depart at 0920 and arrive into Singapore at 1305 allowing business travellers to fly in early and the flexibility to return to Singapore the following day.
Since Jetstar Asia introduced the first direct service from Singapore to Da Nang on 27 November 2015, the airline has carried more than 200,000 passengers on this route.
To give more customers access to our low fares, flights to Singapore and beyond with Jetstar Asia are sold direct, through major traditional travel agents as well as online travel agencies to support group and individual travel needs.
