Mi Fan Festival comes to Vietnam as Xiaomi celebrates its 7th birthday with exciting offers
Xiaomi rolled its seventh birthday party into Vietnam for the first time, with almost $50,000 worth of gifts and prizes for Mi Fans in the country, which became its newest focus market following a an official launch last month. The celebration, which will take place from April 3, sees Vietnam become one of 18 selected markets outside of China in which the company will celebrate this milestone.
Despite having an official presence in Vietnam for only a month, Xiaomi’s products have seen fan groups spring up nationwide, and the Mi Fan Festival celebrates their commitment to the brand. Mi Fan Festival is a yearly affair to celebrate Xiaomi’s birthday and thank its fans for bringing Xiaomi this far.
Xiaomi is a company renowned for its strong engagement with its fans, through forums and social media. Mi Fans are able to have a direct say in what they want to see in Xiaomi’s software and products, which results in a sense of participation and helps to develop loyalty.
This year, Mi Fan Festival is being expanded to cover 18 nations, including Vietnam. To celebrate its presence in Vietnam over the Festival, Xiaomi will giveaway US$48,000 worth of gifts and coupons for Xiaomi products at online retail partner Lazada’s Mi Store between April 3 and 12.
Mi Fans can participate in a mini game – “Tap Mi” with prizes including Mi Band 2 and Lazada coupons. To participate in “Tap Mi”, Mi Fans can go to http://event.mi.com/vn/mff2017/tapmi.
Meanwhile, Lazada will be conducting random coupon lucky draws with huge discounts on Xiaomi phones. Flash sales on April 10 and 12 will see Redmi 4A smartphones available to lucky customers for one dong.
