Xiaomi MIX-es art and technology into a winning recipe for VIetnam
The company that brought the world the full-screen concept has upped-the-arts-ante once again with the launch of the stunning new Mi MIX 3. Available in Jade Green, Sapphire Blue, Onyx Black, and a Palace Museum Edition, the successor to the Mi MIX title has already forged itself a reputation at the forefront of not just phone-geeks, but art aficionados the world over.
From its very inception, the Philippe Starck-designed Mi MIX series put forward a design that the world’s aesthetes could not ignore. The Mi MIX Series has been included in the collections of prestigious institutions such as the Design Museum in Finland, Centre Pompidou in France, and the Die Neue Sammlung, the Design Museum in Germany.
“When we first launched the Xiaomi brand in Vietnam in March 2017 we introduced the nation to the breathtaking first Mi MIX. It was the world’s first phone with a full screen display and signaled our intent for Vietnam from our very first days in the market. The full screen display concept, which we pioneered with the first MIX, and enhanced with the second has now been adopted by virtually every other manufacturer in the industry. But we are a company that never lets imitation get in the way of innovation, and we are back with our patented full-screen slider phone, the amazing Mi MIX 3,” said Mr. Jack Yung Xiaomi Vietnam Country Manager.
Xiaomi spoke and seemingly Vietnam listened, with the country embracing the company’s innovation for everyone message. Within a year of the brand launch, Mi phones had rocketed to number 4 in Vietnam’s highly competitive smartphone sector.
As the fourth largest smartphone manufacturer in Vietnam, Xiaomi is also the fastest growing smartphone vendor in Vietnam. This approach saw the global technology leader reach its annual target of 100 million shipped smartphones on October 27, two months ahead of schedule.
Last week, Xiaomi unveiled its Mi MIX 3 in Beijing. Its innovative sliding full-screen display solved the challenge of making a full-screen while having powerful front-facing cameras. In addition to this unprecedented full-screen display experience, Mi MIX 3 features a camera setup that achieved a DxOMark photo score of 108 ranking it among the world’s best smartphones for photography, a four-sided curved ceramic back panel, and up to 10GB RAM.
To summarize, Mi MIX 3 offers a smooth full-screen experience, ultimate photography, powerful performance as well as a beautiful design.
Mi MIX 3 hit shelves across the Chinese mainland on 1 November in Jade Green, Sapphire Blue, and Onyx Black through online and offline channels. Availability and prices in Vietnam will be announced closer to the local launch date.
