Agoda shares destinations Vietnamese are itching to revisit
One month on from the reopening of Vietnam’s borders, and as airlines heed the call to resume flights to the dynamic nation, its residents are once again eagerly looking to their next trips abroad.
With that in mind, leading online travel platform Agoda today announced the top searched destinations for people in Vietnam looking to add some stamps to their passports and take them to international skies once more.
Thailand leads the way in searches, with Vietnamese keen to get back to the nation’s vibrant capital, stunning beaches, abundant shopping, delectable cuisine, and rich culture. Southeast Asian countries Singapore and Malaysia occupy second and fourth spots, with neighboring Cambodia at number two.
The Philippines also features in the top 10 searched destinations. With no visa restrictions, endless tourist options, and rapidly returning regular flight services ensuring easy access for travelers, the prevalence of these countries in Vietnamese travellers consideration set is unsurprising. Couple that with tight business ties throughout the region, and bilateral travel arrangements between Vietnam and each of these nations, it is likely to continue to grow.
