Canon Bus Trip – Journey of Spreading Joy
HCMC, August 23th 2017 – On a ten-day journey that traversed Vietnam, the Canon ‘Journey to Spread Joy’ introduced the people of the country the chance to explore and experience the products and service that the world’s leading imaging company has become known for. Part of the company’s celebrations of its 15th Anniversary in Vietnam and the 20th year of its exclusive partnership with Distributor Le Bao Minh, Canon kicked off its road trip in the nation’s capital, Hanoi, on 19 August.
“2017 sees us mark several important milestones for Canon in Vietnam. The nation has considerably in those years, but Canon’s achievements over a decade-and-a-half reflect the trust that Vietnamese customers have had for us since those very early days. We wanted to commemorate that with our north-to-south journey down this long, S-shaped land, and showcase both the full Canon-experience to consumers, but also to share our excitement to be a part of this nation, and our gratitude to our partners and customers nationwide,” said General Director of Canon Marketing Vietnam, Hiroshi Yokota.
Between 19 and 28 August, Canon will travel through 14 provinces including Hanoi, Hai Phong, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quy Nhon, Nha Trang, Buon Me Thuot, Phan Thiet before ending the journey in Ho Chi Minh. In each province, Canon will organize numerous activities including parades, photographic skills workshops, product experience activities, volunteerism, lucky draws, and attractive price promotions.
Interactivity is the name-of-the-game for customers of Canon. They will have the opportunity to take photos with friends and family and share their moments instantly. They will also be attractive gifts on offer for people who share their photos to Facebook with the hashtag #canonlantoaniemvui and the Lucky Wheel Prizes will give customers the chance to win t-shirts, Pokemons and more.
With a strong community spirit part of Canon’s DNA, the team took the chance to visit such venues as the Ninh Binh Obstetric hospital, Thanh Hoa Social Protection Center 2, Buon Ma Thuot Social Protection Center, where it undertook a range of activities including photo-shooting and movie screenings for kids.
Canon’s “Journey to Spread Joy” will be followed by a flurry of activity from the imaging leader. Its annual PhotoMarathon will be taking place between 8 October and 5 November, with the Canon Expo taking place between 26 and 29 October commemorating the company’s 15th Anniversary in Vietnam.
