The Cathay Pacific Group is giving customers flying out of Hanoi more choice and flexibility in their travel plans with the addition of two more weekly Cathay Dragon flights between the Vietnam capital and Hong Kong beginning 27 October 2019.

Travellers now have the option of a morning departure out of Hanoi on Thursdays and Sundays, arriving in Hong Kong in the early afternoon. The new flights out of Hong Kong similarly depart on Thursday and Sunday mornings. Together with Cathay Dragon’s existing late afternoon service, these new flights mean passengers now have two flights to choose from every day.

Demand for business and leisure travel between the two cities has been growing and passengers have the comfort and convenience of both Business and Economy Class seating available on every flight. The two new services will be operated by a combination of the airline’s Airbus A320, A321 and A330 aircraft.

In addition to having greater direct connectivity to and from Hong Kong, customers can also take advantage of the Group’s extensive global network out of its Hong Kong hub to connect to some 200 onward destinations across the globe, including popular travel destinations such as Japan⁽¹⁾, Europe⁽²⁾ and North America⁽³⁾.

Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon currently operate 40 flights per week to Vietnam.
