A NEW CENTER FOR A NEW GENERATION
Ho Chi Minh City, June 18, 2017 – American Education Group (AEG) today announced the grand opening of its new English-language Learning Center in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 7.
Located inside Nha Be District’s PV Gas Tower, the state-of-the-art center will be running AEG’s STEAM English programs, as well asIELTS and SAT academic test preparation courses.
The center is expected to accept up to 1,000 students while keeping AEG’s commitment to maintaining some of the smallest class sizes in the industry.
Mr. Richard Sherwood, President of AEG, said: “AEG has a 25 year legacy of pioneering education in Vietnam. It has been a little over two years since we introduced the STEAM curriculum to Vietnam, responding to feedback from both universities and Vietnamese students abroad on the holes they found in their standard English language centers.”
“Our new Learning Center in District 7 sees us doubling-down on our commitment to education in Vietnam. The center includes facilities for different lessons and activities, with high technology tools and equipment for experiments such as Lego Education, laptops and tablets for computer programming and app-based learning, virtual reality gear, along with exclusive curriculum, all focused on bringing kids in Vietnam an unparalleled grasp of practical English for their future studies and careers,” Mr. Sherwood continued.
The center occupies a space inside one of HCM City’s fastest growing neighborhoods and is equipped with cutting-edge tools in classrooms for kids to fully experience AEG’s uniquely developed STEAM English program.
STEAM represents Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics and at AEG students learn English through STEAM activities, experiments and projects – providing them with a creative, practical, and confident fluency in the English language.
AEG Academic Director, Mr. Tristan Makin, said: “Through practical and diverse lessons and active learning in STEAM English, kids learn to design, create, lead, and cooperate. Furthermore they have the opportunity to unleash their creativity while naturally developing their English skills. It is not simply teaching English, it is an integrated method to improve kids’ abilities and knowledge, and boost their confidence from a young age, all to help them advance and succeed in future.”
Speaking from the opening ceremony, Ms. Chau, mother of an AEG student, said: “I am greatly impressed by the new center. My son had been having a wonderful experience at the original locations and I am thrilled that he now has an even better-equipped learning environment. My son is developing in both knowledge and soft skills, and comes home full of stories to tell after every lesson.”
To celebrate the opening of AEG’s new Learning Center, parents and students who register for courses will enjoy exclusive tuition fees with up to 14 million VND offered in assistance for parents. Additionally, when registering at any AEG center, parents and students will be presented with a Lego project that can help kids develop motor, critical thinking, and building skills, or tickets to family movies (up to 600,000VND) to help kids have fun while developing their English skills. Special offers and gifts apply from June 1 to July 15 of 2017.
