Launched to coincide with World Environment Day 2019, Vietnam Recycles today announced its collaboration with singer Trong Hieu. The famed songster will work with the e-waste organization in promoting both its new music video, and more importantly, its cause to rid the nation of dangerous e-waste.
Awash in lush-green, the Vietnam Recycles Music Video is an innovative new way to catch the eyes, hearts and minds of young Vietnamese people as they hum along to the tune, sing along with Trong Hieu, and bob their heads along with the video’s flash-mob, all reiterating the importance of recycling here.
With lyrics voiced by Trong Hieu and a fleet of similarly environmentally passionate volunteers, listeners are urged to “join hands for the Earth’s green-colors”, reminded that “recycling old materials helps them become useful again” all set to a lively dance. Volunteers included everything from students to retirees all in different scenes collecting electronic waste.
The music video serves to remind us all that electronic waste poses a serious threat to Vietnam nationally, and particularly to its big cities, where it is most prevalent.
