Ho Chi Minh City, 3 October 2017 – Commemorating the 15 year anniversary of Canon in Vietnam, and 80 year global journey of the company, Canon Marketing Vietnam today announced the biggest exhibition that the company has ever held: Canon EXPO 2017.

Held at Hoa Lu Stadium (2 Dinh Tien Hoang Street, District 1, HCMC) from 9 am until 8 pm between 26 and 29 October, Canon EXPO will showcase the imaging leader’s solutions, technologies and products, set against a backdrop of famous entertainers, incredible sales promotions, photographic workshops, giveaways and lucky draws.

The four day expo will see stars such as Son Tung M-TP, Toc Tien, Isaac, and Min take to the stage, and will pave the way to the city’s 12^th Annual Canon PhotoMarathon.

In addition to Canon EXPO, the Canon’s 12^th Canon PhotoMarathon will be back, and this time featuring two leading international technology brands as partners – Western Digital and ASUS.

With a record total prize-pool of VND 1.4 billion, the contest annually attracts close to 10,000 participants, all competing to create their most unique, impressive images under the pressure of time, and to themes revealed just moments before the “starter’s pistol”.

In addition to prizes such as cameras and printers worth of tens of millions of VND, this year, the winner will receive sponsorship to compete at the Canon PhotoMarathon Asia Championship 2018 with 16 competitors from around the region vying to win more prizes worth up to USD 5,000.

Experience the unique products only at Canon EXPO

Canon EXPO 2017 will introduce products and services which are displayed for the first time in Vietnam. Specifically, 3D printers will be introduced for the in the exhibition, bringing opportunities for designers, and marketing experts to experience and create impressive 3D models from Canon’s world class 3D printers.

In photography, it will be the first time that Canon brings to Vietnam the CMOS image sensor with the maximum sizes of 120MP and 250MP. This will be very interesting for Canon’s fans as they contemplate the masterpieces of the future with the ability to create an image the size of a football field.

Photography workshops with famous experts
